🌍 What?
A 4-week introductory course in GIS for wildlife conservation, suitable for complete beginners or to refresh your GIS skills. It’s online and in a flexible part-time format so you can choose when to study each week
The course is tutor-led and limited to 25 participants to enable us to tailor the teaching to your unique goals

- Monday 22 November to Sunday 19 December 2021
- Part-time: 5 hours each week (20 hours total) when it suits you
- Deadline to register: 17:00 UTC on Friday 19 November

- Overlay data using different spatial reference systems

To participate, you need to:
- Have your own data to work with
- Commit 5 hours each week to study
- Install QGIS before the course begins
- Be willing to collaborate and learn together

You’ll use QGIS, a freely available, open-source GIS software Exercises can also be done in ArcGIS, but instructions will only be provided for QGIS
