Bootcamps are specifically designed for educators who lack experience with e-learning, and are actively teaching online. The concepts and techniques can be applied in both Higher Education and corporate training

In each bootcamp you will…

  • Build engaging online learning activities you can use straight away with undergrads, postgrads or professionals
  • Tackle focussed challenges relevant to your own situation
  • Collaborate to create resources, and share ideas and inspiration
  • Enhance your skills through practice, expert guidance and peer feedback
  • Connect with like-minded colleagues across a range of disciplines

This isn’t just a talking shop, it’s active learning, in the kind of supportive, collaborative environment you foster for your own students.

Structure & timing

  1. Preparatory task: 30 min self-study
  2. Tuesday 30th June @ 12 noon - 1 hour introductory webinar. Share your context and goals, brainstorm ideas
  3. Self-study: 2-3 hours each week, in your own time. Collaborate or work solo to create a learning activity
  4. (Optional clinics) Friday 3rd & Tuesday 7th July @ 12 noon. Ask for advice, see examples
  5. Friday 10th July @ 12 noon: 1 hour wrap-up webinar. Showcase your work and get feedback

Bootcamps are kept small for a personalised experience and to foster group formation. There are only 25 places available. Priority will be given to those who are inexperienced with e-learning and are actively creating online learning activities
